A behind the scenes tour of the nursery and glass house area at Hampton Court Palace Gardens followed by a guided tour of the grounds by Martin Einchcomb, Plant Specialist and Team Leader.  Hampton Court Palace Gardens houses three Plant Heritage National Plant Collections: - Heliotropium, Lantana and the Queen Mary II Exotics Collection.

The tour will commence at 10:30am and, due to the restrictive size of some of the glass houses, has a strict limit of only 20 people.  As a fund-raising event, tickets are £40 for a place.  Requests for tickets will be 'put into a hat' and the successful applicants will be drawn at the AGM.  One entry per membership number, so I'm afraid Joint Members will have to enter individually and the competition is only open to Surrey Group Members.   This seems the best way of making access to this tour fair for the group.  The ticket price to be paid after the draw takes place.
