Chester Zoo keeps the National Collection of Nepenthes, stunning carnivorous pitcher plants predominantly from South East Asia. 

These plants have amazingly varied trapping mechanisms and fascinating predator / prey interactions, but many species are also highly threatened in the wild. Join the Chester Zoo team to find out more about their large collection of Nepenthes species and hybrids.
