'Harold Peto & the Gardens of Iford Manor, Wiltshire' by Troy Scott Smith


Talk by Troy Scott Smith, formerly head gardener at Sissinghurst and still involved with projects there.

Troy Scott Smith will give an illustrated lecture on Harold Peto, who was a distinguished architect of the late Victorian & Edwardian period, a landscape architect & garden designer in both Britain & the South of France. Iford Manor with its Grade 1 listed garden was his home. Troy has moved there and is involved in restoration work in the magnificent gardens, which reopen to the public in 2020.
