Please join members of the Gloucestershire Group for this visit to the National Collection of Cyclamen species. guided by Senior Horticulturalist, Bethan Collerton. The collection, which is mainly held in glasshouses, includes 26 different species and over 60 individual taxa.
After the visit, you will be free to visit the wonderful gardens, the shop and the garden centre, and purchase lunch in the cafeteria.
Designed by J.C. Loudon in 1829, Birmingham Botanical Gardens spans 15 acres, including glasshouses, pleasure lawns and gardens. The landscape features diverse plantings made possible by the unique topography and microclimates of the Garden. Today, it holds the largest collection of plants in the Midlands, with over 10,000 different species.
