Synonym: Hebe pauciramosa

Description:

Moist areas in the mountains of New Zealand's South Island host this plant. Like V. odora, it has a shiny top and dull bottom leaves, but V. pauciramosa has dull leaves on both sides. This upright, evergreen shrub reaches 40 cm and produces white flowers in short spikes from April to June. The green leaves are broadly spear-shaped, measuring 6 mm long.
