Description:

Found growing in manuka scrub on serpentine rocks on D’Urville Island, north of New Zealand's South Island, and in the Richmond Range, Nelson, this evergreen shrub reaches 1.5 m. Its green leaves are oval, measuring 1–2.5 cm, and vary in size and shape among plants in the same population. The flowers are white and bloom in summer.
