Description:

Seedling of V. ‘Great Orme’ raised by Douglas Chalk in 1975 at Polden Acres Nursery, Somerset, UK. This bushy, upright evergreen shrub reaches about 1 m in height. Its narrow, glossy, spear-shaped green leaves can grow up to 6.5 cm. In summer, it produces rose-pink flower spikes that can be as long as 12.5 cm. It is tender in the UK.
