Plant Guardians

Pulmonaria ‘Fiona’

Description:
Described in Pulmonarias and the Borage Family (Bennett 2003) as having flowers that open coral-red, gradually developing to violet and blue, and leaves with many, bright whitish spots. Earliest citation is from RHS Plant Finder of 1991 which records a listing from Brian & Heather Hiley. Brian received the original plant from Bob Poland, nurseryman near Wakehurst, in the mid-1980s, he recalls that Bob raised this cultivar and named it for one of his grandchildren.
