Synonym: Hebe ‘Joan Lewis’

Description:

Raised in Joan Lewis's garden, Secretary of the Essex Hardy Plant Society, this hebe is fairly hardy in the UK. Likely a hybrid of V. albicans, it is an open-branched evergreen shrub reaching 80 cm in height. Its broad, spear-shaped leaves measure 1.6–2.4 cm long, and it produces white flowers with a pink tint from June to July.
