Description:

The Hebe Society records that this plant was found on islands east of the northern end of North Island, New Zealand, where it grows near the coast in scrub and forest, and named after the captain of the survey ship Hinemoa.  Summer flowers of pale lilac or white. Described as being hardy in the UK.
