Jim has gardened all his life, spending 25 years working for the National Trust as a gardens advisor.  He moved to Suffolk with his wife Sarah Cook where they hold 3 National Collections. He has regularly exhibited his carnations at Hampton Court, winning several gold medals.  He is an active member and past chairman of the Suffolk group and is also vice chairman of the RHS Herbaceous Plant Committee.
