Warwickshire
We are a lively, active group that enjoys a range of activities including a Grand Plant Sale in Leamington Spa and the Plant Heritage Annual Plant Exchange, as well as a range of talks held in Warwick.
Our group meets for monthly talks on various aspects of plants and gardens.
Talks are held from September to May on the second Thursday in the month, at the Great Hall, the Lord Leycester Hospital, 60 High Street, Warwick, CV34 4BH (near the West gate).
Meetings start at 7.45pm. Tea/coffee and biscuits are available at the end of the evening. Non-members are very welcome as visitors (£4 don{ation), members are free.
There is a monthly raffle and plant stall. Please do bring along plants or material currently of interest in the garden for display and/or discussion.
A highlight of our year is the Grand Plant Sale held in the Pump Room Gardens in Leamington Spa, (usually on the first Saturday in June).
Members are encouraged to help with propagating and selling plants and meeting with the public.
The group takes part in the annual Plant Heritage Plant Exchange scheme aimed at conserving rare and unusual garden plants.
Volunteers from the group also help with restoring a group of historic Victorian Pleasure Gardens in Warwick.
