A Visit to the River School Gardens
An opportunity to see these restored gardens
For 35 years after WW2, this was the garden of Oakfield Teacher Training College for Horticulture and some interesting trees remain.
Since 1985, it has been owned by an independent Christian school.
It became neglected until 2015, when a group of volunteers began restoration.
