Plant Propagation and Dispersed Collection Meeting March 2024

Propagation Day and come and visit Stud Nursery

For the first time this event will take place at Stud Nursery.  We will be dividing perennial plants and taking cuttings to create the plants for our Denbies Sale.

This is an informal session where members can hone their gardening skills while at the same time creating plants for the forthcoming plant fairs and sales for The Surrey Group.

Plants, compost, pots and labels will be supplied.  If you have any plants you would like to propagate, please bring these along, as well as your own secateurs and trowel.

Please bring a pack lunch

We will be having a Dispersed Collection Meeting after lunch and swaping plants.

Special Skills You Will Need - NONE

All welcome.

We are not able to park many cars outside the nursery itself but Hampton Court Palace Golf Club have very kindly offered us the use of their car park.

To get to the Golf Club enter by the same gate as if heading to the Stud, (Kingston Gate) but instead of veering right, you stay left. A rough map to the Golf Club is included below.

It is a 3 minute drive from the Golf Club to Stud Nursery but will probably be a 15 min walk from the car park to the Stud, although through the park!  We will organise a car shuttle for anybody who require some help getting from the Golf Club.

And a BIG 'Thank you' to Eloise and Stud Nursery from all of us for hosting this event.
