Gloucestershire National Collection Holders Day - Westonbirt Arboretum

An opportunity to learn more about the National Plant Collections and the people who hold them, plus a guided tour of the grounds.

Our second Gloucestershire National Plant Collection Holders Day in recent years will be held at the renowned Westonbirt Arboretum. With  15,000 specimens, and 2,500 species of tree from all over the world, the arboretum plays a vital part in plant conservation and holds four National Collections of Staphylea spp., Juglandaceae, Acer spp. and Acer japonicum & palmatum.

We are very grateful to Westonbirt Arboretum for making the venue available to us and for providing a talk and guided tour. We will be joined by National Collection Holders from neighbouring groups and staff from Central Office, including our new CEO, Gwen Hines.
