Hybridised by Henry E. Sass (1910-1982) in 1945 (USA), ( Golden Fleece X sdlg), HM 1946, AM AIS 1950. Described in Kelway's catalogue 1960: Exquisite wax-like flowers with a pronounced sheen. A cool, soft yellow with bright gold on a crisp white heart. Firm substance. M.l. 36 ins. A.M., R.H.S., 1953,
