Description

Historic Orchard dates from 1796. Extensive new plantings in 2015 included the National Collections. The orchard is a platform for research into soil health, biodiversity, genetic conservation and is a demonstration and educational orchard for future generations. Walled garden with trained cultivars lining the central path and against the walls.
