Internationally significant collection, largely located in Coates Woods with other Southern Hemisphere collections. Some individual specimens can also be found in the Southern Hemisphere Garden near to the Mansion. Wakehurst (RBG Kew) is leading the Global Conservation Consortium for Nothofagus https://www.globalconservationconsortia.org/gcc/nothofagus/.
