Corporate Supporters

Our corporate supporters play a valuable role in supporting our plant conservation work. Can you help us do more?

To discuss corporate membership and other ways that your company can support our conservation work, please call us on 01483 447540, email membership@plantheritage.org.uk or complete our contact form. We'll be delighted to hear from you.

We offer corporate membership at three levels: bronze, silver and gold, starting at £175 a year, with different levels of benefits. Click on the logos below to find out more about our current Corporate supporters.

What we can offer you

Working with Plant Heritage, the UK's leading garden plant conservation and membership charity, demonstrates your commitment to plant conservation.

As a Corporate supporter your logo will be on our website, and you can use the Plant Heritage logo on your website. You will get shout outs in our regular newsletters, along with priority advertising opportunities in our respected publications that go out to thousands of people who are passionate about plants and conservation: the Journal (twice a year) and the annual National Plant Collections Directory. There are also opportunities to partner with us at high profile national events like the RHS Chelsea Flower show.

The impact of your support

With your help, we will:

  • extend the National Plant Collection® scheme, to save more special plants. This 'living library' is already protecting nearly 100,000 plants - roughly one-third of all cultivated plants in the UK, but there's a lot more to do. We also want to create duplicate Collections to help insure against losses, and more shared Collections held by community groups so more people benefit.
  • recruit, support and train more volunteers. From visiting National Collection holders regularly to check on progress to organising local events and digitising plant records, the success of our conservation schemes relies on hundreds of dedicated volunteers across the UK
  • continue our Threatened Plants Programme, which identifies plants most at risk of disappearing and is used by a wide range of partners to inform their own conservation efforts
  • expand our Plant Guardian® scheme, which enables people to make a difference by caring for just one or a few rare and unusual plants. It's designed to be accessible and includes houseplants, so those without a garden can still get involved, and we love finding out the stories behind these plants too
  • continue with our unique free annual Plant Exchange, which last year swapped around 800 rare and unusual plants across the country. It's a fun, friendly way to keep plants in circulation that are not available commercially but are important for other reasons
  • to promote green skills and plant knowledge through more talks and workshops, from plant propagation and peat free growing to researching and recording historically important plants. We aim to keep the cost of these low and many are free, so more people can take part
