As well as contributions to the Bring and Share lunch, please bring a small sample of soil in a jam jar (350g size max) or margarine tub from approx. 30cm depth (or a spade's spit depth) if the ground is soft enough, so Sarah can perform manual texture analysis.  She will talk through other soil tests that anyone can do.

Please let us know if you wish to attend by Friday 6th November. Likewise, should you have any dietary requirements, do let us know at the same time to allow for planning.  If you are able to donate raffle prizes, all will be gladly received

Nominations from Yorkshire members are invited for any of the offices and for membership of the committee. Nominations must be supported by a proposer and a seconder who are also Yorkshire members of Plant Heritage.  If you would like advice on what is involved, please contact either Jackie Haigh (jhaigh3@icloud.com) or Mel Armstrong (mel@cardinaltalent.com).

The meeting will end at 14:05.  Afterwards you are free to walk in the gardens and visit plant sales and the shop, both of which will be stocked with seasonal goods and perhaps pay a call to the Harrogate Arms.
