Surrey Group AGM

Our Annual AGM, Announcement of the winner of our Plant of the Meeting Competition and Photographic Competition.  It is also the one meeting of the year that in addition to tea and coffee we indulge in a feast of delicacies brought along by Surrey Group Members. Do remember to bring along some food to share, if you possibly can, either sweet or savoury.

It is also the start of our 2024 Flower of the Meeting Competition.  If you wish to enter then please bring along a vase containing a stem bearing flowers, fruit or seed heads from your garden, greenhouse or conservatory.  There is a prize but it is really just for fun, to decorate the all and so that we can all see what is looking good in the garden at this time of year.

Our Annual Photographic Competition worked so well online last year that we have decided to allow email entries again this year. If you have not found a photograph to enter the competition, the title is 'Emerging'. Entry is open to all Surrey Members, just bring along a copy of your picture to the meeting or, if you are unable to attend, email it to me at surreyph@gmail.com.  Closing date for email entries is Monday 5^th February 2024.  Everybody who attends the meeting at the hall gets the opportunity to vote on the photo of their choice.  We are not purists, so photo enhancements are quite acceptable to enter this light hearted competition.

We are also delighted to be able to welcome two RHS Wisley students who will each give a brief presentation.
