Spring Lunch and talk from Julian Sutton, plantsman, botanist and nurseryman, entitled ‘More than Mopheads’

10.45am    Coffee and plant sales prior to a talk by Julian Sutton, plantsman, botanist and nurseryman, entitled ‘More than Mopheads’. Science meets horticulture in the bewildering diversity of a major genus of garden shrubs and perennials, and if you think you don’t like hydrangeas then you’re probably not looking at the right ones. Julian is familiar to many of us as a speaker, and his talks are always fascinating, thought provoking and educational. We are very pleased to welcome him back after 11 years.

1.00pm    Lunch. Meat or vegetarian alternative (please state choice when ordering tickets), puddings and coffee.
Alcohol will not be sold but if you would like wine, please bring your own bottle.

Directions    From Totnes take the A385 westwards towards the A38 and Plymouth. Turn right where signed Rattery and then follow the Plant Heritage signs in Rattery village. Parking at the Village Hall.
