This will be a visit of many delights to a nursery of high repute, home of two National Plant Collections, Astrantia and Chrysanthemum (hardy) dispersed. With refreshments on arrival, and then a guided tour of the nursery by Andrew and Helen Ward. This promises to be a real treat. Described in the National Garden Scheme book as a jewel box of 3000 different, beautiful and unusual plants sumptuously set out in a 1-acre plantsman’s garden including cottage garden borders, alpine and scree areas, shade and woodland areas and a pond.
