Astartea fascicularis
Description:
The False Baeckea. Endemic to Western Australia throughout the Rechererche Archipelago and Cape Le Grand region. A medium sized shrub which is a member of the myrtle family, it flowers in its native habitat during most months of the year, except in times of extreme heat or cold. Capable of withstanding frost, drought and wind in its native habitat, it does best in a sheltered position with good levels of moisture. Grows to a height of 1.5m.
