Dendrobium Ellen gx
Description:
An Australian bred orchid first flowered in 1928 and is a primary hybrid cross of D. kingianum × D. tetragonum by Wilhelm Schmidt of New South Wales, the grex was subsequently registered with the RHS in 1928. Native Australian Dendrobium orchids are often considered to be cool growing orchids. Such cool growing species are generally found growing at higher altitudes. Ideally these plants require good light and an arid rest period to promote flowering.
