Delphinium ‘Alice Artindale’ (d)


Description:

A delightful rosebud delphinium, with unusual double blooms of a striking blue hue, accented with a pink flush. Raised by William. M. Artindale & Son (John), Nether Green, Sheffield in the mid-1930s, and named for John's wife Alice (1872-1956). Rarely offered for sale and grown by a handful of enthusiasts, this cultivar has been kept in cultivation in the UK by Home Farm Plants, Bovingdon.
