Hemerocallis ‘Black Falcon Ritual’


Description:

Introduced in 2005, this cultivar has black-purple blended flowers with a light purple watermark above a chartreuse throat. Curt Hanson of Crintonic Gardens, Ohio, registered over 827 daylilies, almost all tetraploids. Though few won awards, he received the Bertrand Farr Silver Medal, with notable cultivars including H. ‘Ocean Rain’, ‘Nosferatu’, and ‘Skyhooks’.
