Sedum ‘Parish Plum’


Description:

A 2010 introduction from Birchwood Plants, Romsey, derived from a chance seedling selected from the garden of Jane Sterndale-Bennett (1942-2005) at White Windows, Longparish in Hampshire. Dark foliage, with large heads of maroon flowers in late summer to autumn. Jane’s garden was renowned for its planting of hardy perennials, and she held several positions within the Hardy Plant Society over 20 years, culminating in Chairman from 1996 to 2001.
