Description:
Gifted to our Plant Guardian after being purchased as Lychnis ‘Sparkling Julia’ from Beth Chatto’s nursery circa 2002. This plant originated from a selection discovered prior to 1999 growing in a rockery at Chesham Bois House by Julia Plaistowe. Selected for its good colour and shining white calyx it was subsequently gifted to David Ward, then propagator at Beth Chatto’s nursery, around 1999.
