× Graptoveria ‘Debbi’
Description:
A chance hybrid succulent from California, first appearing at Abbey Garden in Reseda as a cross between Graptopetalum amethystinum and an unknown Echeveria species. It was named after Debbi Foster, daughter of botanist Robert Alan Foster. It forms clumps of rosettes up to 20cm wide with fleshy leaves that shift from pink to violet and peach tones, intensifying in cool or bright conditions. In spring it produces small apricot-orange bell-shaped flowers on arching stems.
