Synonym: Chrysanthemum hybridp'penny's Yellow'
Description:
Hardy Chrysanthemum National Collection Holder Judy Barker describes ‘Penny’s Yellow’ as synonymous with ‘Richard’s Yellow’. A tough, reliable cultivar to 122cm, bearing 6.5cm bright yellow, double clustered flowers with greenish centres from late October to November. Large leaves redden in autumn, while sturdy stems can flop slightly. HPS member Penny Hay obtained it as an unnamed cultivar from The Telegraph and introduced it to a nursery for propagation.
