Description:
Also known as Rosa watsoniana and R. multiflora var. watsoniana, is a curious rose of uncertain origin. Found in a garden at Albany, New York, it was sent by Edward Rand to the Arnold Arboretum in 1878. Named by Crépin for botanist Sereno Watson, it forms a graceful, bamboo-like bush with pale leaves and small white-pink flowers, thriving in shade and moisture.
