Description:
Tropical plant in the aroid family. It was first published in Novon 18: 154 (2008), and this species is accepted by current plant authorities. Native to Peru, it grows mainly in wet tropical forests. It is an epiphytic subshrub, meaning it often grows on other plants or trees for support without taking nutrients from them. Its natural habitat is warm, humid, and rich in biodiversity, making it well adapted to rainforest conditions.
