Narcissus ‘Scarlet Leader’ (2)

Description:

Mid-season historic daffodil, 2 Y-O [Large-Cupped], is a tall cultivar over 67.5 cm, hybridised by Mrs. R.O. (Sarah) Backhouse in England and registered before 1921. Awarded AM Haarlem 1931 and FCC Haarlem 1938, it features broad, creamy-yellow to soft creamy-white perianth segments that overlap neatly. The large, expanding crown is bright scarlet-orange, lightly frilled, and notably sunfast, creating a striking and elegant bloom admired among Backhouse’s finest introductions.
