Narcissus ‘Firetail’ (3)
Synonym: Narcissus ‘Firetail’
Description:
Late-season historic daffodil, 3 W-R [Small-Cupped], grows 32.5–67.5 cm and was hybridised by Ernest M. Crosfield in England, registered before 1910. Awarded AM 1920, FCC(e) 1922, AM Haarlem 1924, and FCC Haarlem 1925, its broadly ovate, creamy white perianth segments overlap one-third to half, with slightly mucronate inner segments. The small, shallow, closely ribbed corona is a striking deep orange-red, making this fertile cultivar a classic small-cupped beauty.
