Arisaema taiwanense f. cinereum
Description:
Native to the mountains of Taiwan, this distinctive silver-leaved form was originally collected at Wuling Farm in the northern Central Mountain Range and later re-collected during a 2015 expedition with the Taiwan National Museum of Natural Science. The name taiwanense reflects its Taiwanese origins, while cinereum means “ash-grey”, referring to the silvery sheen of its foliage. It produces stout mottled stems topped with broad silver leaflets and deep purple hooded flowers.
