Dianthus ‘Solomon’
Description:
A historic florist's pink raised by Snook before 1843. A Bizarre-type cultivar of unknown parentage, it bears flowers with a white ground and scarlet markings. A second cultivar of the same name is also recorded, producing single flowers with a velvet crimson ground and pale lilac-pink lacing, and may be identical to the old variety known as 'Ruffling Robin'.
