Rosa ‘McGredy's Sunset’ (HT)


Description:

Bred by Samuel Davidson McGredy III of Portadown, Northern Ireland, before 1934 from a cross between 'Margaret McGredy' × 'Mabel Morse'. Golden yellow petals with scarlet shading and a butter-yellow reverse. Blooms throughout the year. Sam McGredy had died suddenly at the age of 38, before some of his finest roses had been introduced. McGredy’s brother-in-law continued to run the business after his death until his son took over later, he had been aged 2 when he lost his father.
