Begonia solananthera A.DC. AGM
Description:
A scandent (climbing) plant native to Brazil, first recorded in the 19th century and later treated as a synonym of Begonia radicans. It has glossy, heart-shaped evergreen leaves about 5 cm long and produces cascading clusters of small white flowers with red or crimson centres. Blooming mainly in late winter to early spring, it has a lightly fragrant display and a trailing habit that makes it well suited to hanging baskets or elevated planters.
