Iris ‘Fleur Collette Louise’ (La)
Description:
Louisiana iris bred and registered by A. R. J. Bailey in 1992. Rich violet standards and wavy violet falls marked by white rays, a yellow throat and deep-yellow signal line. Bred from ‘Cuisine’ × ‘Bryce Leigh’, it was introduced by Iris Garden in 2005. Bailey, based in Devon, bred irises across several classes. He received the British Iris Society’s Pilkington Award in 2004 for outstanding personal service to the Society, recognising his significant contribution to British iris cultivation.
