Description:
Rare Menorcan endemic, native to moist habitats on the island of Menorca in the Balearics. A biennial or short-lived perennial, it forms a basal rosette of lanceolate, prominently veined leaves before producing slender stems bearing small greenish-yellow flowers. First described in 1878, it is now extinct in the wild but survives in cultivation and botanical collections.
