Origanum vulgare ‘Pink Mist’ AGM
Description:
Discovered by plantswoman and HPS Shropshire stalwart Barbara Molesworth in 1998 as a chance seedling in her garden. Found near O. vulgare ‘Aureum’, it stood out for its golden foliage, dark stems and unusually large, vivid pink flowers. Molesworth propagated and observed the plant, which showed strong growth and a long flowering period. It was initially trialled under the name ‘Golden Mist’, before being renamed ‘Pink Mist’ and introduced by Bransford Plants.
