Description:
From the Journal of Horticulture and Cottage Gardener pg 52, July 15 1880: 'We have received from Mr Fox, Banbury, flowers of the NEW DWARF DOUBLE FLOWERING Tropaeolum Hermine Grashoff; the original plants having been received from Mons. Grashoff of Quedlingburg. The flowers are very double, with broader petals than the old double scarlet Tropaeolum, and we think they are even brighter in colour'.
