Synonym: × Kalmiothamnus ornithomma ‘Haytor’

Description:

Hybrid raised by Barry Starling from Rhodothamnus chamaecistus crossed with Kalmiopsis leachiana. It combines narrow, smooth-edged leaves lacking the glands and bristles of its parents. The plant produces saucer-shaped to flat pink flowers, 2.2–2.8cm across, marked with a striking bright red eye ring and pale brown anthers.
