Potentilla ‘Congo’
Description:
The 1905 nursery catalogue For Lovers of Plants and Flowers, by J. H. Troy of the Mt. Hissarlik Nurseries, New Rochelle, New York, describes ‘Congo’ as a hardy Potentilla growing to about 18 inches (45 cm). It is listed among varieties flowering profusely from June to August, with dark maroon flowers marked yellow.
