Dianthus ‘Old Fringed White’

Description:

Raised in the 16th or 17th century, sweetly clove scented, white semi-double flowers with fringed petals. Mary McMurtrie, an enthusiast of pinks in the 1950s and a talented illustrator writes in Old Cottage Pinks (2004) that is possibly the same as what was originally known as 'White Shock'.
