Pelargonium ‘Xochi’
Description:
Introduced in 2006 by Jay Kapac, a Southern Californian breeder known for unusual and collectible species hybrids, angel pelargoniums and pansy-face types. This species hybrid produces striking scarlet flowers with dark blotches on the upper petals. The name derives from Nahuatl, the indigenous language of Mesoamerica, and is a shortened form of Xóchitl, meaning "flower". Our earliest record for this cultivar growing in the UK is 2020.
