Description:
Introduced in 1966 by Schreiner’s Iris Gardens, Salem, Oregon, a family-run nursery with a century-long tradition of breeding and exhibiting award-winning irises. Tall bearded (99 cm), midseason flowering. Deep, uniform bishop purple flowers with matching beard rise above grey-green, spear-like foliage on strong stems. Hybrid of ‘Prince Indigo’ × complex Schreiner selections. Awards include High Commendation 1967, Honourable Mention 1969, Judge's Choice 1969, Award of Merit 1971.
