Hemerocallis ‘Dainty Pink’

Description:

Hybridised in 1972 by André Viette, who would go on to run Viette Farm and Nursery in Fishersville, Virginia. Andre had trained in hybridising as a boy at his father Martin’s Long Island nursery. Across three generations, the Viettes registered 142 cultivars. Flowers are pale pink, with darker edges and soft yellow in the centre. This is one of their notable introductions along with 'August Ruby' (1970), 'Bittersweet Honey' (1979), 'Little Kiss' (1979), and 'Peach Fairy'.
