Dahlia ‘Andries' Orange’ (C)


Description:

Introduced in 1936 by Clement Andries of the Netherlands. A historic heirloom variety that produces vibrant orange, semi-cactus flowers on bushy plants reaching 0.5–1 m in height. The  Flemish name, ‘Andries Oranje As’, is said to commemorate a Jazz Age liqueur from the small Belgian town of As.
